... eats pancakes that day...and pretty much only on that day. Then tomorrow it's Ash Wednesday and no-one eats anything at all for the next 14 days or sommit. It's a good reason to leave the place....along with Morris Dancing and other weird stuff. Be thankful you don't live there.

Has it been that long??? I'm "OK with it"....last year I was told he'd passed....and then it turned out it was the lad who lived next door to me.....our names our similar, crossed wires etc.....he's 88 so you can't complain. He did absolutely anything he set his mind too...and usually ...

... the test of time and reliability. Diesels cannot meet modern emissions without that tech (can't meet them with it for VW!), this could be the next leap forward for petrol and diesel? Less moving parts, full control of the valve timing and potentially cheaper? I like it! 8)

My son has been invited to the media launch of this new team in London next week.

Alberto Puig, Jeremy McWilliams and John McPhee to be present.


Really pleased for him and the hard work he is putting in at University and the unpaid work he does online.

Well, the battery has charged and fired up the bike, so as long as it holds enough charge to fire it up for the next 20 minutes I'll see you all there. I seriously overestimated the time it would take to get dressed and fit the battery, so I'm sat here in all my biking clobber ...

... Gave it a quick wash, cleaned and lubed the chain, then took it for a quick blat. My god I'd missed riding. Also moved the track bike to it's next temporary home.

... cope. But that would involve forward thinking by the government.... It will be interesting as many more electric cars come out this year and the next few what happens about capacity - especially on the road network. Fights at service areas on motorways :D
