Re: Weekend plans
I do wish I had a less 'all out' bike for the road, I get zero enjoyment out of my bike at low speeds - something like a Naked 1000 V-twin would be perfect

... to grip fine then all of a sudden they let go and you nearly highside. Yucky tyres!! :P Get some Metzeler Racetec RRs or Supercorsa SPs. They (road compounds) were good enough to get me into fast group :) They seem fine on the road but I will swap for a pair of supercorsas soft front medium ...

Re: 2016 Trackdays
Middle paced inters on that day. There were only 3 of us on road bikes in that group.
Hollywood is after Redgate, before Craner.
My favourite part is coming out of the old hairpin, hanging off to the left and going for it all the way to McLeans. I'm more comfortable on my left.

Re: Ducati New Model Launch Live 330 pm Today
There is a full Akra race system available but they usually cost megabucks. I suspect Ducati may have to offer this as a freebie to get some bikes on the road.
May go back to my original idea of an early 1199 and make it what i want, or wait a few years for a s/h 1299.

Re: Inside a shock
No only ohlins mate. I believe they had exclusive access to the oem ecu when developing the electronic steering damper.
Ktech was just another option and a good shock.
I've also always wanted to try a maxton shock and very popular with the pure road racers.
