Re: What ails you today?

6 days later and I’m finally out the other side of the gastro. Jess woke up this morning, seems it’s her turn :S Fingers crossed it's not with her for the same sort of duration. From a positive perspective, maybe it will have assisted you in keeping your weight down. ;) She went back to work today ...

Re: Mrs Trump

So someone has taken a shot at Trump but only grazed his ear by the looks so far.

You can tell he’ll use this to his advantage, who ever was trying to stop him just gave him the biggest boost he could get 🤦🏻

Just introducing Volodymyr Zelenskyy as Vladimir Putin was enough, but the whole thing was a train wreck.

I can’t believe him and Trump are the best that politics has got to offer in the US.

Re: What are you doing today ??

Out cycling today and just got absolutely nailed by some b@stard hanging a u-turn. There's a reasonable amount of blood to clean up, and all down my right side took a decent battering. The driver didn't stop. Two very nice ladies helped me get myself together. I'm going to be very sore later. Hell,...

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

Tradesmen I had the ensuite shower regrouted and sealed professionally the other day. Gave it 48hrs to cure as recommended. Used it last night. Showe starts to fill up with water. No drainage at all. 10pm at night, still partially wet, climb under the house and drop the s-bend. Totally plugged with ...

It’s been weirdly cold. The temperature figures don’t actually represent how cold it feels. I thought it as just me missing the tropics but seems everyone is complaining about it 😂

Re: The General Election

100%. I'm the last person to be authoritarian but voting should be made a legal requirement with the option to spoil your vote. I think (someone on here will know for sure) that in Australia it is mandatory to vote, punishable for those who do not. The real problem as I see it, is that the democrat...

Re: What are you doing today ??

Yeah, all good thanks, went to A&E for some X-rays on my hand, but it's just muscle damage. It got trapped between the bars and the car. There's hardly a mark on the bike, just the bar end mirrors, sliders and a slight misalignment of the forks. Hoping they have moved a bit in the yokes and the...

Finally changed the plug caps, repaired the fan wiring and put the Thruxton R all together.

Quick test ride after a full warm up and it didn’t skip a beat.

New 58mm calibrated tamp
58mm portafilter funnel ring

The coffee machine upgrade has caused me to have to upgrade a bunch of stuff around it as I’ve moved from a 54mm to 58mm portafilter.

Waking up to find out our bridges are open again! Once again we got flooded in for the weekend. Had planned to help friends move house and go into the city for Vivid. So a selfish part of me enjoyed being stuck home, pottering around the yard, doing a few odd jobs on the Mrs car while teaching her s...

Re: The new improved fitness thread

I took an unplanned lie down in the woods yesterday. I got my suspension back from a service so ran the same trail back to back while bracketing damping. Happy with compression I moved onto rebound. I ran it faster which was excellent for grip but beat up my hands so then I ran it slower. Over the ...
