Maybe I was a little previous buying a new battery as I couldn't wait for the old one to charge as I was due out and the bike shop was only a minute down the road

Just got to monitor the old battery now .... And buy a multimeter

Having said that, I have had the old battery on charge for an hour

I brought a new battery when the issues first returned .... Is it possible I could have a dud battery that doesn't charge?
Put the old battery back on and it's fired straight away
