Re: Biker Down

Just an update. Been down to see Rocket in the hosptial tonight and glad to say he seems well and we had a right old natter although I do wish it had been in better circumstances. I left him set up in bed, in good spirits, laughing and the prognosis is a full recovery which is very good to here.

Europe as a whole is scorchio, it's stinking hot here and has been for about a week. 38 forecast today and my outside temp gauge says 46.8c at the moment (but it's in the sun) and 33 in the shade. I got up early as I've been chainsawing trees this ...

Re: WD40 Superbike fire

Some of the high pressure fuel rail, throttle body's , fuel injectors and associated hoses are located in the airbox so any fuel leakage here will allow a fire in the airbox which once the leaking fuel is ignited will spread very quickly.

Re: If you could only have one...

Much depends on the forum you ask the question on. We're mostly into our sports/naked bikes on here. When you've got people riding Multis you know that performance over looks will win in some sectors (devils) :* To be honest there are not many bikes over the years that ...

If you could only have one...

Sales figures are here, Kwacky and you are right in that the Z1000SX is the best selling sport/tour bike. But the best selling over 1000cc machine is still the BMW 1200GS. BMW seem to sell a huge number of these machines. The good ...

Actually just thought, you could always buy Jane the 899 as a present, as your such a nice husband ;)

Being an even nicer husband you could always run it in for her, and also take it on the odd road test to check its safety for here ;)
