As of this week, that's organised :). The hole will be dug in May, so a small window to bury bodies (giggle). I've cleared out the garage too so you can all leave your new bikes in it :)

I've never been to Germany. I intend to remedy that over the next few years. I'm always open to places to live. Keeps life interesting. Your a long time dead :(

Re: What bike should i get then....?

I'd have a 690 duke like a shot, but don't want to get rid of the RC8 and I've just spent a load on a new car so can't justify it (giggle). Jane would kill me :(

Re: What bike should i get then....?

C00kiemonster - i recall reading this review at the time and thinking that sounds a hell of a bike for the money...thank you for re-posting. (clap) See, i like the look and performance of the 690, it's definitely No2. on the list at the moment! - I'd best start looking at Biketrader then, do they d...

Re: What you watching?

I watched the sun come up today over the Timor Sea... WP1Sunrise.jpg We can't normally use cameras out here, due to the hazardous nature of our work environment, but we have a couple of intrinsically safe units for work purposes. I had the need to request the use of one earlier today and snuck this...

Re: Star Wars fans

I do hope they do it well, like JJ Abrahams did with Star Trek, which I think he did better than the originals IMO. If they don't, it will destroy the brand IMO, but then maybe these films are designed for people 30 years younger.... You are joking. Abrams destroyed the Star Trek franchise. The fir...

Re: What bike should i get then....?

I was taking the RC8 for its 3 year service today to Redline in Loughborough, so enquired about a test ride while i was there. They had a few demo bikes, but it was the 690 Duke i specifically wanted to try. I'm after a bike thats the polar opposite to the RC8 for A and B road fun and nipping to the...

Re: What bike should i get then....?

If those two bikes are your faves, I'd buy the duke 690. I test rode one last year. I've never giggled so much on a bike or been unafraid of any corners. It's so light and clickable.

I'll post my test ride in the next reply.

Balls... Missed it. It's on today so will record and watch it.

Re: McLaren pit garage nearly 40 years apart

I honestly prefer the 70's to current day. World or a few people in charge of it have gone mad in recent decades. I would happily trade everything I have in modern life to go back to a simpler, less stressful and less regulated way of life. To be honest many would Blade. One of the reasons I now li...

Re: D675 Stator (weird heat/electrical issues)

MotoBatt batteries don't seem to have a very good name, maybe it's on the way out already... . Great, I've just bought one for my kwak. I'm at a loss with the electrics. Not everyone from the old site has moved over yet so I guess you might have to wait unless Cookie can help? He could at least fly...

I love border collies and had one many years ago, but not with such lovely colouring! They do grow into part of your family, routine and love so very quickly. I've always loved dogs, my two have been documented on TS before a few times. Zak and Nell are getting on now 10 plus years olds, which is ge...
