Re: ZX6r screen and other bits

I've got other bits and pieces lying about. I've found a box of bits. I need to check what's in there but it looks like the heat shield and some lowers.

There's also a pair of unused Vortex clip ons. I think these are 48mm, again I need to take a proper look.

They can be a bit skittish on the road with the factory settings. It doesn't take much to make them better behaved though.

Re: Pokemon Go

... I managed to restock up on various items. I also took down a couple of gyms while I was bored in queues, although sadly I had one pokemon left to take a 30,000 gym when the ride arrived and I had to quit the fight, so no xp fpr me. There seemed to be loads of male and female Nidoran about, as ...

Re: Stealing speed

Just bought it. Tried to get it in paperback as I save my good books for the helicopter trips but you can't take hardcovers on-board (possible projectile during a crash, though getting banged in the head by a hardcover would be the least of your problems!) but the cheapest I ...

Off to pick my 853 engine up tomorrow.

Sunday going to see Alex and take him out to lunch. See if he has survived 3 weeks on his own and looking after himself.

Yep, I think I would take a pass if all they can say is they're not sure and the risks are classed as "quite low".

Re: Hodgson riding Iannone's Desmo racebike

definitely a good watch, very honest feedback from Hodgson as well. I was crapping myself enough when I first took my 10 out on track, I couldn't even imagine what it would be like to take one of those for a spin.

There's no way I'll ever find 65k to spend on a bike and wouldn't dare take it any where near a track if I could. I do love that fact that companies like Ducati make them though.

Re: Samsung

Aplle take the p!s$ with the patent thing though - they asked Samsung to design a tough glass for them as their's wasn't good enough. Samsung obliged then continued to use the glass in their own product. Apple sued them for 100's of millions.

Samsung's are still a better phone than iPhones IMO

... laugh. The only saving grace it's got is at the end, watching the losers try and squirm their way out of a bad situation, only for Alan Sugar to take them down several pegs. It doesn't really make up for the rest of the hour, but it eases the sting a little.
