I stuck to the service intervals until I noticed my gear shifts going bad at 2-3k then I would just change it as and when. With trackdays, no more than 3 before an oil change.

... needle in my foot where they tried both elbows, hands then finally got it in my foot of all places. The operation itself was a success just the before and after that was hectic. If you can take any comfort from the fact I'm as much of a d!ck now as I was before the operation then I'm glad!! :D

Thanks for the link Duke but seen same year with less miles and akrapovic can for a grand less and that's before the dealing starts ;) There is quite a few appearing on ebay now as the season starts to approach an end. I guess people wish to sell before winter as they know it ...

He'll love it, wish my dad had done that for me. I'd bought a selection of tools before I joined the Airforce and while away they went missing. I found out after I'd re-stocked it was the old fella that had scored them

... like a sure footed beast and the lower revs but higher torque (compared to a 4 cylinder) is catching me out, it's taking me a glance at the speedo before I realise I'm going 30-40 km faster than I sensibly should be! The new one must indeed be a beast. (devil)

There should be some exceptional deals on new bikes over the winter as the majority of current models will have to be preregistered before 1 january if they don't meet Euro 4 rules.

First night shift, only half way thru' and struggling already. Despite my best efforts I fell asleep on the helicopter coming out which stuffed me up for sleeping before shift once onboard so only got 3 hrs in.

... liking the RnineT as it suits my 90% of riding to work and blasting down lanes at the weekend. Yes clearly I'll be looking for a sports bike before the end of the summer (848 or ZX636 or the like as 1,000s are just too much for the roads down here). YET it'll be an addition not a replacement ...

I think you are right that the PRC is a big danger to the future with their 'investment' in the west. We will be totally reliable on them for money before we can stop it. However i do think Germany has had too much influence on the EU. I read the other day a theory that one way of saving the Euro ...

... trip out of looe harbour. Real good family fun and caught about 30+ plus mackerel and a few other species. Had a cheeky pint in a harbour bar before home to light the barbie for a lovely fresh fish supper. Chilling with a beer now 8)
