Rossgo's Test Day

So today was the day!! After a year and a bit of training I had it. I arranged it a few weeks back about a week after my cross check and when I applied it took all of 2 days before an examiner got in touch to arrange the test! I was gobsmacked ...

... only bike to have an issue, however. Josh Brookes seemed to have little trouble spanking Shakey Byrne's ZX arse all over the track with his last year. ;) its a total recall ,the engine cases have to be split to fix it which I personally wouldnt trust a main dealer to do. The new ZX10r will win ...

Re: Feeling very proud

Whilst i don't like the idea of a £9k+ per year as a debt for him to start his working life, it is ultimately just another way of taxing people. If you don't work or earn enough, you don't pay it back.

... bum off while at uni, he had a full time apprenticeship in the field he wanted which helped so much and now pulls in a obscene amount of money a year. Paid off a mortage inside a matter of a few years starting with only 5K deposit! The pluses can outweigh the minuses if you pick the right course, ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

I test rode something like that a year or so so for a giggle. Felt like the front wheel was in another county, but the hero blobs where a very different shape when I gave it back (devil) http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160126/708d6a8f1f1caa4e22772f4c57585e24.jpg ...

... found my long term lid for this bike, like Kwacky's recent one it's an open face Arai but the one I want won't be available until later in the year. So what I really want is a cheap tide-me-over. I wasn't really wanting to look like a stormtrooper necessarily, it was just a thought. But I also ...

Re: Chain mileage

My ER6 did 16k before I changed them. The R1 was done at 9,500 (but it was 5.5 years old at the time). I think the VFR800 was at about 13.5 when it was done. And the Varadero had one last year at 17.5. I wasn't aware that there was any hard and fast rules, tbh. ...
