Re: Enduro bikes and road legality

That looks like a giggle, and I'm betting with a 450 single the front end will be aloft nearly as often as the tiger.

Re: Enduro bikes and road legality

So without further ado, here is the new toy in the Mancave. Its a 450cc Single four stroke. with less than 500 miles on the clock. Should be a giggle..... http://i1217.photobucket.com/albums/dd388/frankiek7/s3_zpslt9e5euu.jpg http://i1217.photobucket.com/albums/dd388/frankiek7/s2_zpsgbg6igtu.jpg htt...

Re: Enduro bikes and road legality

... with. However after a lot of research I was happy to do the deal. I needed the cash :) and the bike looks just the ticket for a little off roading fun, so I done the deal. However to answer your original question my want list was a four stoke - Enduro bike 350cc and above. V5 present. So ...

Enduro bikes and road legality

What makes some of these bikes road legal and others not?

It doesn't seem necessarily to have anything to do with having lights fitted.

And are four strokes a better bet than two strokes?

Any advice welcome.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

She has been great, but I need the cash, well sort of as a deal came into my in box out of the blue, which ticks a box a little more premature, but hey you have got to do what you gotta do.
Put it this way, my little foray off road produced a itch I needed to scratch lol 8)

Re: 2016 ZX10R

... looks are a bit Marmite, but I reckon Kwak will want to build on the back of that project so I guess we'll start seeing bits from the H2 on their road bikes. It'll have to kick out 200+bhp to compete with the other litre bikes. Again, from the H2R project we know that Kawasaki have the right electronic ...

... racing department with the introduction of more limited tuning on 2015 bikes this year. It's exactly what yamaha and APrilla have done with their road bikes. Semi active suspension would be very nice as it's the obvious future for sportsbike and the best addition on my bike by far however it will ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Next time you need some new tyres, the Michelin PR4s would be a great choice what with autumn coming on.

In the wet on Saturday afternoon they stuck to the road as if it were dry.

... flippant the way she came across. I think we all have a reasonable expectancy that we would not expect a plane to come crashing into us on a main road whilst appearing at a nearby airshow. Some very poor errors of judgement were made somewhere by someone.

... didn't do its stunts over the sea. Shoreham is next to the sea and they don't use it. Plus the path of the loop de loop is directly over a main road? Nuts.

duke63 wrote:I would think any road based sportsbike with a supercharger would be fundamentally different to the H2.

I would think the idea then would be to improve the mid range and economy/emissions rather than top speed.
I meant it would be similar price wise not design wise!

Re: 2016 ZX10R

... Imagine a zx6r looking like that with a turbine in it. Oh my. you can change the suspension but cant change the engine rods or pistons, thats why road bikes are becoming more powerful. They need to be almost as powerful in stock trim as a wsb bike otherwise they would be uncompetitive
