I know what you mean Frankie. The Blade was electronic aid free and a real pleasure to ride. Probably one of the last great analogue sportsbikes I reckon.

Re: GetGeared
I have been in the shop once Frankie but ring them if I want something as easier to get a deal if you have a bit of banter with the shop staff.

Re: GetGeared
Totally agree D6.
The upshot if it is I have got a us10 (£55 rrp) for £18 more than just buying the new style us hook straps that i originally ordered and I was thinking of getting a us10 anyway as my current us5 can be too small on some ride outs when carrying waterproofs and spare layers.

Re: BMW XR.... My what a bike
Out of interest which layout do you prefer in a sportsbike Mick ? Il4 or vtwin ?
Only reason I ask is I prefer a il4 in a sports bike but wondering if the pull and torque of a twin might better suit an adventure bike ?

Re: BMW XR.... My what a bike
Agree with kiwi a real world review from current Multi owners Kingfixer and Duke would be good to read. Personally I prefer an il4 engine configuration to a vtwin in a sportsbike but unsure which engine configuration would best suit me if going for an adventure bike which I have to admit is starting...

Rossi @ Mugello
Well its that time of year again and its one of my favourite races of the year on the Motogp calendar, Mugello 8) Rossi is leading the championship and has previous dominated at his home circuit winning form 2002-2008 and scored a podium last year on his return to Yamaha. Problem is Marquez is never...

GetGeared
Just a recommendation for GetGeared specifically to there Leeds shop. I have always had good service when buying from these guys and they have also been good when I have had to return items under warranty. I placed an order 2 weeks ago for 3 items but 1 item was out of stock at the time of ordering....
