i looked at my dash on sunday and kept seeing a symbol that looked like a cloverleaf flash up,I did some research when i got home and found out the zx10r has an eco riding mode.I was doing about 32mpg on Sunday for most of the way

amazing that the adventure/multi purpose bikes are now pushing out 150 bhp + with TC etc ,things have really changed in the bike world

Yes totally agree Perkles, the ten is not a particularly comfortable bike but I guess it wasn't high on the design brief in all fairness. Saying that though my Blade was much more comfortable. I think the seat on the Blade was wider which gave more support where as the tens seat is narrow I guess t...

I have to admit i was really aching when i got home ,my bum was sore from the seat and my right wrist was also aching
Even with its lower gearing you definitely need to wind up the ten to get it buzzing at high revs then it really gets moving
I had fun on it on some of those long lefthanders
