Re: The electric car revolution

There's a massive push on disinformation at the moment, they've even got that sad sack of sh!t Katie Hopkins at it.

If you've got an hour to spare these guys are making a good start at dispelling some of it.

Yes, and expect it to get much worse over the next 12 months as thousands of knuckle-dragging douchebags feel enabled by Tory rhetoric in the media.

Bruised ribs are no laughing matter, literally! I cracked a rib once, you can't laugh, burp, sneeze or fart without absolute agony!

Re: The Daily Post Election Politics Thread

It looks like the so called "war on motorists" is going to be the Tories preferred battleground for the next general election. Expect a load of scaremongering about more ulez, 20mph limits, restrictions on car use and 15 minute cities. Screenshot_20230929_075643_X.jpg Yep, add that to the...

I swapped them, plus a few quid for a mid-level Alpinestars two-piece, Missile V2 or something. Quite pleased with them and nice to have a change after 16 years.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Just got back from 4 days around the Rutland area, one of which was with an MCN journalist on part of the MCN250 test track (road). Fantastic roads, really wasn't expecting them to be that good. I knew the Melton to Market Harborough road was good, but the other back roads he took us on were absolut...

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

100% Cav, just imagine if we all took account of our own individual effects on the environment. Energy, waste, pollution etc, what a place that would be. Never going to happen though, for the same reason communism never works, we (society) don't see each other as equals. I've done my bit this year, ...

Re: Brexit thread

"They" need to be very careful with that before the next election. You could see large groups of voters going to parties like Reform UK. We're still a single-issue voting public.

Re: What are you eating ??

Yoghurt, walnuts and honey. I'm on a fasting diet with a bit of keto thrown in, only eating between 1pm and 8pm.

I've lost 1.7 kg in 8 days, so will hopefully be able to fit in my leathers by this time next week.

I use the word "hate" very cautiously, but I hate that woman. She's the embodiment of everything that's rotten in the main stream media.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Yesterday, but I fixed it. I've been putting it off as I thought it might be the stator, b@stard of a job on the ZX6 because of the way they run the cables. Fairing off, tank off, airbox off etc. and I hate taking the front fairing off this bike. Anyway, I took a punt and just replaced the rectifier...

Should have come up to the Peaks. All of those storms completely missed us yesterday, very unusually.
