Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Yesterday I made use of a hole in the weather to take the bike up to Squire's cafe and back on the back roads, 90 miles so far and still over 200 in the massive tank.

Re: NEW Bike day-ish, GS Round 2
Got it home in one piece and just about thawed my hands out, the heated seat worked great but my gloves seemed to be great at keeping heat out... Might not use them in winter anymore.
No pics because the bike is filthy and it's dark, I can't wash it for a week.

And 3°c (facepalm) Maybe ticking the heated seats option was not a silly thing after all... Now where did I put the wi...

NEW Bike day-ish, GS Round 2
I went to the dealer today and there it was waiting for me, already prepped and just needing some final bit's of paperwork before I could take it home... But I'm having it delivered to Supreme Coat in Dronfield for a paint protection kit and ceramic coating. I fitted a paint protection kit to my XR ...

Another TFE video. About a WW2 spy this time, at one point the SS brought in 500 extra troops to look for her, they knew what she looked like and still didn't catch this one.

Insured it... I've bought, taxed and insured cars for less. Admittedly not recently.

Re: Stonesie's GS Mods, Farkles and Tinkering
Okay, an update happened.
The bike cleared UK Customs at 01:00 this morning so is now at the UK Distribution centre, it might make the Friday delivery to the dealer but will probably be next week so I paid the balance of the deposit which should make the paperwork smooth once it get's here.

A nice pair of HOOD K7 jeans with the D30 level 2 armour, they're lighter than the old Wolf jeans which got cut up to the knee after my accident.

Been catching up on some sleep and a shopping trip for my parents, then De-Farkling my neighbours S1000XR, he's only had it a year but when he took it to Scotland it was a literal pain in the arse even with the comfort seat... He's had a ride on the new 1300GS and fell for it immediately, they're co...

Re: Stonesie's GS Mods, Farkles and Tinkering
Today I got a text from the dealer, the bike is built and with the importer waiting to be transported to the UK distribution centre, there it will be inspected and given a full tank of petrol, shipped to the dealer for a number plate... Shouldn't be long now.

Re: Stonesie's GS Mods, Farkles and Tinkering
Yeah they're a chunky bike alright and the Adventure even more so with 30 litres of fuel, but I have ridden one and handled it just fine. The one I have ordered is the older 1250. The 1300 is a bit lighter and easier to lift off the stand but I remember the chocolate camshafts and electrical oddity'...
