Re: It's time for a bike change - Cornish is on the hunt aga
I ve changed the gears on other bikes on so called advice and regretted it. The zx10r is different as it is massively over geared in first to allow the next 5 ratios to be stacked close together for superstock racers who want a close ...

Regards other mods there are a few that improve things I could recommend but the only one imo I would class as essential is the gearing change as genuinely transforms the bike with no negatives. Other than that throw sticky tyres ...

Just watched "The Durrells" on ITV, very good tv. Fwiw "My family & other animals" was one of my favourite books when I was a young boy. It has been so long that I have only vague recollections, excepting the overall story & the fact that ...

Obviously I don't know what part of the West Mids you are in, but the other option is to call RoSPA direct, ask to speak to the advanced drivers association and they will be able to tell you where your nearest group is. ...

Re: What are you doing today ??
The cadets showed up eventually.
They ran into a closed M54 and an accident at the other end of the diversion!
Not their fault so I can't really be too ticked off.
Actually, I wasn't mad at all, it gave me a chance to go over the briefing before I delivered it.
And have a cup of tea.
And a poop.

I can't make that one.
It's not the cheapest of tracks is it? There's a Saturday date in May which is £189. With fuel. food and a hotel I reckon I'm looking at £300.
All of the other dates seem to be a Tuesday or a Wednesday.

I've been told by my doctor not to exercise for two weeks.
Fat and muscle seem to be the ying and yang on my body. One I struggle to gain and seem to lose quickly, the other the opposite.
Having been to the gym just twice in 4 weeks I feel both skinny and flabby. It's horrible.

Pretty sure they're the same thing Kwak.. the german set doesn't even state the grade of the material so you may aswell gamble on a set that costs £100 less.
I would personally go with something other than chinese ones though - that's why I went with the Diamond racing ones
