Well deserved frankly. The Yamaha boys threw it away one way or another this year.
It was dull bar the falling off mind..

Re: BSB turning a bit nasty?
Shakey nowhere near as good a Sykes and Rea? Absolute rubbish.
He's THE top BSB rider of all time and worked his way up from racing non-competitive machinery.

Re: BSB turning a bit nasty?
My experience of Shakey is the complete opposite. Went out of his way to invite my son into his garage at Oulton Park, pose for photos and be an all round nice guy. The last time we saw him a few weeks back he waved from the grid, minutes before lights out ...

... checked again. I was getting past 16,000RPM and seeing 174mph on the dash. With the 200 section tyre the top speed would have been 177mph. Either way, I was winning drag races with other 600s and they were all flat out on the brakes while I was still on the power #winning Like you say - still ...

Re: Catalunya October 2016
Dude there's no way a 600 will do 176mph, that's litre bike territory. With 0/+3 on a 180/60 you'd hit the limiter at 167, but I'd doubt you'd get to 167. Peak power would be dropping off over 150mph in 6th.

... get him before turn 1. The circuit , wow, what a stonker! I've played this circuit on games consoles for as long as I can remember and it's always been one of my favourites (2nd to Suzuka) so understandably I was very anxious when I went out. Again, completely different to how it looks in ...

Re: Hodgson riding Iannone's Desmo racebike
He did seem a bit intimidated by the whole thing...which I guess is a good thing. If the bikes were the same as his was way-back-when it would've seemed a little pointless.
What a great track.
Needs to ditch the losers standing around trying to get screen time.

... Clutchless downshifts are easy to do, but brutal on the internals if you feck them up. They're also handy if your clutch cable snaps on the way home from a ride and you don't feel like pushing your bike the last mile because you stalled it on a side street and had to walk home when it finally ...

There's no way I'll ever find 65k to spend on a bike and wouldn't dare take it any where near a track if I could. I do love that fact that companies like Ducati make them though.
