Re: Decisions Decisions
A4 Avant. Gone for comfort rather than sporting prowess. I seem to spend so much of my time in the car and this came with all the bells and whistles you would need for comfort plus i managed to get a very large discount what with the deal Audi were offering plus a tidy sum extra from the dealer. Lik...

Re: Garage Security
My own opinion on garage defenders is they just flag up there is something worth nicking inside. That said i see they now do a slightly less obvious version which if painted the same colour as the door would hardly be noticeable from a distance. Some ideas here. Definitely chain the bike to the floo...

Re: People have no morals these days
That's shit, Jon.
Was it in a car park with CCTV? The video may give police some insight into the individual concerned. Quite often these people are well known to Plod.
If they spent more money on ANPR cameras and less on speed cameras, we might get this scum off the roads altogether.

Re: The Budget
You are right, D6. Perhaps my wording didn't make that very clear.
But its still a scandal when many of the wealthiest don't pay anywhere near 40% on their earnings. I would still like to see a flat basic rate of tax on all sources of income so there is no way of avoiding/evading it.

Re: Decisions Decisions
Weird that because i put a deposit down on a new Audi last weekend and though the figures per month are not much more than i am paying now for the Skoda, the full cost of the car if i went out and splashed cash down on the counter would be nearly as much as my first house.....which is fecking scary....

Re: Qatar Motogp FP1 - May contain spoilers (and nuts)
I think the question is whether the softer tyres will have race-long durability somehow.
I wonder how much i would get for Cal being on pole on Sunday?

Re: Black or gold wheels?
Ohh.... it would seem i may soon have some gold wheels.
I made a low offer on some wheels with tyres, quoting that there were some sold the other day for that and the offer has been accepted.
Wasn't expecting that!

Do you have access to the inside of the garage from inside the house?
If so bolt it from the inside.

Tyre gunk only cures through the hole. That's why it works and continues to work.
Do you want me to invoice you direct for my commission, Spudda?

TBH i don't think i need anymore awareness of the 'C' word after the last few years. I would much prefer not to here that word again for some time.

Re: The Budget
They don't take 40% of their earnings, do they? But I get your point. Personally I have no objection to paying tax and wouldn't object to paying more. But these idiots insist on wasting so much of it. I want it going on schools and the NHS and emergency services, not sponsoring US invasions of far ...

Fwiw I think the gold makes the bike look lighter.?
Also some above posts have suggested the gold ones are too bling.

I thought the Americans watched every single movement of every plane from satellite? I have no idea what happened to the plane but someone somewhere is hushing up some of the facts of this case, IMHO. I heard some 'expert' say that any plane flying without an identifying signal would be shot down pr...

Not taken much of it in even though its job related. Whilst i don't like any of the Parties, for Miliband (whose party played a big part in bankrupting Britain) and Farage to stand there and say what a mess the country's finances in is absolutely ludicrous when neither of them have even a single ide...
