Re: 2014 Kawasaki Z1000SX ongoing review

I suppose it depends on what do you have to replace on a bike in its first 2 years, compared to what you have to replace in the next 2. Obviously mileage is a factor, but your bike is still relatively young. My opinion would be to hang onto it, but I'm a tight ...

Re: Porsches

... We have had a few friends recently diagnosed with potentially terminal illness ( one of which has gone that way) and we realise we no longer have years and years to do all the things we would like, so no point putting them off if opportunities arise.

They moved that camera years ago so now going down the different road makes no difference. You pass 2 cameras after the turn off and before the pub coming from the Mac side, which is the best side for twisties. As you say people reckon ...

... few hours, despite getting lost shamefully close to my house. Confidence is on the up, I was more comfortable going down a road today that 2 or 3 years ago had me feeling nervous and wobbly. Lots of bikes out. Girls are starting to wear strappy tops and the like. Life is good!

Re: Buxton tops the UK charts again.

Do bikers still use the Cat n Fiddle ?

I thought average speed cameras killed the popularity of the road.

Re: 2014 Kawasaki Z1000SX ongoing review

I don't know Duke we pay out typically £180 every 2 years for main dealer car servicing, so £90 a year is nothing. Cars don't have valve clearance checks or chains and sprockets to worry about. Also the tyres need replacing at 10 times the distance ...
