"Do you serve lawyers here?"

Bartender..."Yes, of course we do"

"Great! - I'll have a pint of beer, and my crocodile will have two lawyers & a bag of crisps"

Please refrain from using the alternative for slow.

It also sounds as if your inability to operate a can opener is more of an issue here :D

... armpit. It came up overnight. It's not sore and it's under the skin. I reckon it's a swollen lymph node. I'll keep an eye on it. If it's still here on Monday I'll go to the doctor. It didn't go away so I've been to the doctors. She's not seeing anything to cause her concern but she's requested ...

Re: The new improved fitness thread

Back home so have been able to get back into bush walks rather than endless circles on the helideck

I mix it up over a handful of tracks we have close by, but here’s a typical effort I do each morning after I’ve got every one out of the house

Re: Another New Bike Day, Stonesie's GS

... Close enough-ish-for-now. They reach through and the nut goes on 3 turns, eBay swiftly found me some high tensile 100mm bolts so they will be here in a day or 2. My neighbour, not the biker who used to have a GS 1200, gave his verdict. "It's not a pretty bike, but it looks rugged and ...

Re: Another New Bike Day

Looks good mate!

Your bike, you have to be happy with it, and sounds like this suits you well.

There's a few guys out here at work with GS1200's and they rate them highly (and they aren't nobs either (lol) ) Though that thing looks a tad flasher than their models

Re: Work

... is all to order something off the back of a VDU assessment, I shouldn't have to be doing any of this as the H&S manager is responsible, yet here we are (punch) So we're at a stalemate because Purchasing don't know their own process.

I've got a decent lump under my left armpit. It came up overnight.

It's not sore and it's under the skin. I reckon it's a swollen lymph node. I'll keep an eye on it. If it's still here on Monday I'll go to the doctor.

Guilty as charged.. I have a little house in a village near here that is on a cul-de-sac served by a single carriageway wide road. Both sides of the road have 4' wide tarmacadam pavements. The property does have a private drive, but that is usually occupied, ...

I've definitely got golden handcuffs here and if we get another 6% pay rise this december I'll be on higher rate tax... it's tough to find a job of equivalent salary. I'm trying to balance ...
