Re: Opinions/experience on aged tyres

I never take a tyres grip for granted... regardless of date of manufacture I always start slow and build my way up to max. This has done me well so far and the only time I had a slip (although I didn't spill) with tyres that I deemed almost a crash was with a brand ...

Jumped on it to go down the road and get some milk. The weather was glorious and I got distracted. Made it home with the milk and hour and half later ( got the milk on the way home, no I didn't do the whole ride with it in the tail bag!)

... and found the front end jumping on some corners, so much so I was trying to to run different lines as it I was scared the front would just give way on me. I think I noticed it a lot more on the Suzuki than the Beemer, as everything is a lot hard on the gixer in terms of setting.

Re: £4bn to renovate the Houses of Parliament

There is no way on earth that they would consider building new premises for Parliament.

There's even less change they would consider 100 yards away from the centre of London.

Re: Post referendum

I find that where I work.. we have a 5 hour Friday and I feel I do more on a Friday than I do Mon-Thurs. The reason I feel this way is that I don't want to run out of stuff to do during a day so I go a little slower but on a Friday everything is maximum attack and people get stuff done.
