Re: What bike should i get then....?
... week ago and the 690. I'd had the F3 for nearly 2 years and wanted to sell before I lost anymore on her. It saddened me greatly So I didn't want 2 bikes in the garage as one always gets ridden less than the other so decided to do a major cull and sell everything. Now I got the GSXR with the ideology ...

Any other bikes though as I'm conscious the 690 is taking all the limelight here?

As of this week, that's organised . The hole will be dug in May, so a small window to bury bodies . I've cleared out the garage too so you can all leave your new bikes in itKwacky wrote:Cookie is about to digout a swimming pool........

... why they brought in Gigi Dall'Igna from Aprilia, a very smart move i reckon as they were never going to be able to compete with the full factory bikes this or next year otherwise. It's interesting that Gigi wants a new bike for the 16' season, that will be something to watch out for!

Re: What bike should i get then....?
I was taking the RC8 for its 3 year service today to Redline in Loughborough, so enquired about a test ride while i was there. They had a few demo bikes, but it was the 690 Duke i specifically wanted to try. I'm after a bike thats the polar opposite to the RC8 for A and B road fun and nipping to ...

Re: What bike should i get then....?
If those two bikes are your faves, I'd buy the duke 690. I test rode one last year. I've never giggled so much on a bike or been unafraid of any corners. It's so light and clickable.
I'll post my test ride in the next reply.

... not, YET £2k from the sale of my RC8 will pay for the bathroom (BORING!!! |-) ). It would be only for 4-6 months and then back onto the Superbikes (maybe 899 Panigali or 848 Ducati) or something similar as I’m thinking of going down some CC’ as you can never (nor do/can in) use all that power ...

Re: Donington
I'm surprised msv don't make much money on bike days but do on car days. The car and bike days at Oulton are priced the same at circa £150 per vehicle and I would have thought safety regs allowed more bikes on track than cars. I'm not. Challenging the fact just saying I'm very surprised at the data.

... when coming down the pit straight so as not to trip the noise sensor. I guess this just will mean a whole new level of strictness, maybe with bikes being pulled while queuing to go on track. All that will do though is add to the cost of running these days.
