That sounds ideal - race bikes and eat stodgy food.
Cracking shots again Jack.
What's the natural light been like recently? Is it hard to judge when one minute it's bright sunlight and the next you've got a hailstorm coming in?

Re: Black or gold wheels?
Not quite sure what i have here. The hubs are different to all the other 5 spoke Marchesinis i have seen.
I know there are not Magnesium.
Some of the later bikes 998R and S4R Monsters had lighter wheels/hubs still so i am hoping that is what these might be. Time to ask a few questions.

Re: Black or gold wheels?
... that apart nice one Duke it will look amazing. Old wheels weigh a ton. Modern cast wheels are much lighter these days but old stuff like on our bikes was so over engineered. When I fitted dymags to the sp the weight saving was massive and they transformed the handling. I was really sceptical ...

Re: Crashes shook confidence - Marquez
The way those bikes dropped was frightening, there was no warning from what I could see.
Did you see the way Marquez's bike wobbled when he was fighting with Rossi? Cranked over, trying to regain his spot, bike bucking all over the place. What a talent.

Gear Indicators
I know some of the newer bikes have a gear indicator on the speedo cluster and theres the option to add one with a retro fit.
Those who have a bike that are equipped with them, are they useful and do you use them much ??

... we headed for London Town, for a little photo shoot in an urban setting, well any excuse for me to take pictures in different settings with the bikes. Here is just a sample of some of the shots I took, many experimental, as in all :D (giggle) , but as you know this is a new found passion of ...

Well I thought it was awesome all round. Yes Mel doesn't know bikes, yet WE all started at zero too remember? Yes, Cal didn't want to talk, yet it's Neil Hodgson FFS, he's a world champion and not afraid to get the answers we want to hear. Overall a great ...

Most cars and a growing set of bikes have data recorders built into their ECU these days for accident investigation anyway tbh, so the police can tell if they want to.

... names, but essentially the same piece of kit. Cost effective maybe but I'm pretty sure it's not something the majority of people who ride bikes want. That's why we change every so often, or why I do . The styling on that thing is dreadful IMO, The Black crow more like the back row!!! But ...

How about a mid morning breakfast at that place you suggested? We can all meet up somewhere easy to find then you can take us off for brekkie. Afterwards we can have a couple of hours out on the bikes, tea and cake then make our way home.
How does that sound?

Re: What bike should i get then....?
... week ago and the 690. I'd had the F3 for nearly 2 years and wanted to sell before I lost anymore on her. It saddened me greatly So I didn't want 2 bikes in the garage as one always gets ridden less than the other so decided to do a major cull and sell everything. Now I got the GSXR with the ideology ...
