Bubble car Museum

http://www.bubblecarmuseum.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Been thinking about visiting, only £4 for an adult and, I think, about 50 vehicles on show. looks an isolated spot, about 120 miles away from me, I actually owned a bubble car once! Of course, they are massive...

Re: is it just me?

Yes, I can imagine, you can choose your school now so it is not the local one often hence all the vehicles to bus the kids about, not like the old days when you were left to get to the primary school on your own like I was.

Re: MOT rule changes

I wish they would do something about blinding headlights and spotlights, cannot understand how so many get through the mot as they appear to not be dipped properly in many cases.

Re: is it just me?

Thanks rossgo I think I'm just getting to be a grumpy old person, with increased volumes of traffic drivers get frustrated and behave badly - nevertheless it doesn't make it pleasant for bikers. Then there is this trend for massive vehicles that makes things worse. I am going to to have to go furthe...

Re: is it just me?

is it just me?

Sad to say but so far this year I'm finding bike rides are pleasurable and irritating in equal measure, love the fun aspect but hate all the traffic, there's so much of it these days. in particular, the trend is towards bulbous people carriers, bloated cars and huge jeeps like vehicles. Either havin...

Re: So here's my plan...

i like the idea of a plan, each to their own, and that's yours - so far so good but.... £500 just ain't enough these days imo, yes may you can get something for that price but i would think that you will spend out the same again getting it properly sorted. i'd try and get a bit more cash together, a...

Re: Why do we ride?

earlier on i didn't think about it much, it was just fun - now years on riding is very much a two edged sword

on one hand the fun is still there but, on the other hand, i get irritated with cars not waiting and pulling out and this takes away from the pleasure.
