I thought that the 675r Daytona produced about the same as the new street triple? Wasn't that around the 125 mark? But you're comparing supersports bikes to road going nakeds. They're not the same. Besides which, with the current rider aids I would argue that 125bhp on a bike is more useable than 15...

Not sure how you can sneer at 121BHP in a 765cc road naked. The old street made around 105bhp from memory. If the basic is £8k they can't really sell the RS for any more than £9.5k otherwise you're getting too close to the 1050 speed triple price. You can stiill get the 94 model S3 for £9k although the current model is supposed to retail at £11,900

so we've got the R, the S and the RS.
