Re: NEC

It's a bit glitzy-looking. Like something you'd see at a show, and ONLY at a show.

Re: What are you eating ??

Nothing, nowt, nada,.......I'll be starving myself all day today until I start scarfing down dozens of Thanksgiving Day dinners this afternoon/evening/on-into-the-night.

Yes, they still exist. I "might" have one in one of the bedroom drawers.

Probably.

The Little Drummer Girl.

10/10. Unbelievably good.

....And infinitely better than the book, which is not one of LeCarre's best. I'm more than impressed.

Re: What you watching?

They were started by some downed power lines, apparently.

And then fed/spread by the Santa Ana Winds.......which is a weather condition....winds blowing in from the desert or sommit like that.

Re: Performance Bikes Magazine

Makes sense.

When was the last time anyone on here bought a magazine?? The internet has made that whole aspect of the media more bother than it is worth.

Re: What you watching?

Some cop/court procedural show with an actor who reminds me of Ed Harris.

I give it a generous 4/10.

Re: What do you call a pack of pushbikes!

Yeah....I didn't like the club-type thing. I did a season racing for Specialized and one for Supergo....'97-'98, I think .....it's fun getting free gear & bikes but the commitment took the fun out of it. And it was only a half-dozen races. I'm glad I did it, but I was also glad when it was over....

I looked them up. They sound cool....remind me of a punk fashion shop in Newcastle.......they'd play stuff like that all day long.

She's flying. (nod)

Indeed.

I'd forgot it was Formula 3 (I think..) so I guess that's about the right age for the up & coming drivers.

Re: Work/life balance

Either way they'd adapt.....youngsters are good at that. Less life experience works in their favour with that sort of thing.
