Re: General Election 2015

The biggest problem we have is that debt has been spiralling out of control since 2008 but none of them are using it as an vote seller and only the Tories and LibDems seem to have a plan to reduce it. We cannot go on borrowing an additional £90 billion EVERY year without it very soon becoming a ser...

All joking aside some lads on the zx10r forum like that particular brand of slippery tyre apparently.

Re: Supercorsa's in the wet?

Personally wouldn't go out in the wet on them but would in a damp or drying track.

Best think to do would be source a spare set of wets on wheels and problem of British weather is fixed for ever.

Re: Pirelli Rosso Corsa

by the time youve paid for fitting are you really saving anything by buying tyres online ? I think that depends so much on your local tyre supplier and/or if you can get them fitted cheaply. Many places don't want to fit tyres they don't supply anymore without charging a premium for it, which is fa...

Re: Pirelli Rosso Corsa

I like Rosso Corsa thanks Monty. Rode on them for a few years now on the sp and Blade so a bench mark tyre for me and will be good to see how the ten performs on them. Will be my third set of tyres on the ten in 2 months so plenty of comparison to other brands also. Thanka for the suggestion though ...

Re: Pirelli Rosso Corsa

Most places want between £250 and £270 for Rosso Corsa fitted Perkles. If I get those tyres online for £190 and I pay £10 per wheel for a local tyre fitter I know to fit them, who is a biker and a mate I'm £40 to £60 better off. Its no hassle either as I always have removed my own wheels. I don't li...

Re: Waterproof Rucksacks

Another suggestion.

Kriega tank strap. You can then quickly fit a us5/10/20 dry bag in seconds. And easy to transfer to the zx6r.

Just an idea.

Fair point.

Only a suggestion. But what about a waterproof tailpack some of them are very quick and easy to mount / dismount.

Re: Waterproof Rucksacks

I would rather have a top box than lug a rucksack if it was me. I think its a good idea. Keeps stuff better protected, less crumbled and as Tony says less to worry about if you have an off.

Guess I'm getting old (blush)
