You would love it. Is easier to ride than the 1299 In my opinion. But not in a ‘Honda’ way.

Re: Must be getting old

what about the mt09 mate? triple engine like the street and very good value I just feel that if I went the Triple route it would definitely be theTriumph. Weight is all important to me here and I think the MT07 would be the better of the two Yamaha’s. This bike mainly needs to tick the fun factor b...

Re: Must be getting old

So a list of bikes I would like to try is forming.

I want to keep my Multi but add something that is very different - light, agile, pokey engine, not expensive

Yamaha MT07
KTM 790 Superduke
Monster 797 and 821
Street Triple.

No. I did ask but the reply was why would they?

The same was said about the 1199 though when that first came out.

The V4 is proper race bike technology.

Blip the throttle gently and the counter rotating crank makes the bike rock back and forwards.

Re: Panigale V4S test ride

Its easier to ride, from memory faster and a better balanced roadbike than the 1299.

You could commute on it, tour on it, track it. It would do everything.

But its made to go fast, preferably on a race track. It is insanely fast.

Re: Panigale V4S test ride

Indeed. I wanted to try one but its way too much for road use.

Licence shredding doesn't even begin to describe it.

Re: Panigale V4S test ride

I was actually quite happy and almost pleased to be back on my Multi on the way home.

You have so much more vision when sat upright, it makes things safer and faster.

Re: KTM 790 Duke at Pikes Peak

I love the look of the 790. Blinged up like that its looks awesome.

Imagine a bike 160kg race wet weight.

It was only 5 seconds slower than the 1290R Superduke and the Multi 1260 which were second and first place respectively.

Panigale V4S test ride

Been wanting to have a ride on this for a while. Opportunity arose today so off i went. First things this is a V4S with the fancy suspension and rider aids. You can even adjust the steering damper electronically. Three modes - Race - 214bhp QA throttle, Sport - 214bhp softer throttle, Ghey mode (Str...

And there is the issue, Nutz. All in its easier and probably quicker overall to drive. BUT I am at a point in my life where I want to be working less which means reducing come outgoings. I'm just thinking ahead but once Alex finishes Uni I want to be reducing my hours little by little. It would be g...
