poorly kwak
On my way to Mike's. Bike seems fine. About 20 miles into the ride there's a rattle from the front right, by the side of the tank. Bike starts to lose power than dies. I started it as I was rolling along and it did the same thing ...

Re: Project ZX6R
Balls.
The bike rattled then died on the way to Mikes. I suspect the CCT failed. No idea if that's the case or what the damage is. Mike will take a look next week and give me the good or bad news.

Re: Matlock Bath Breakfast Sunday 10th April
I looked it up, it will take around 5.5 hours one way using A and B roads bit 3.5 hours using motorways but I really don't fancy motorway riding. I will be staying local on Sunday

Re: Matlock Bath Breakfast Sunday 10th April
I am unsure yet it all depends on weather as it is a long way and really don't want to use motorways!! I have to look at a route and see how long it would take to get there and back taking a different route

Is there a car park anywhere or a side of the road job though?
I'm not fussed either way, just gauging where people will have their steeds parked up.

Could go either way for me. He's clearly fitting a new chain but the cable tie is where the link pins would go so has he realised he doesn't know how to fit the link and is asking if he can ride to the garage like that to let them fit it?

Gave the SX a bit of a work out on the way home.
Swapped the bikes over as I need to get the rear on the zx6r scubbed in and get the rear shock link swapped over.

... would be If Lorenzo goes to Ducati then Vinales will take his seat. He is extremely hot property at the moment and a rare talent. There is no way Yamaha will allow anyone else to have him as I agree with Jack In that Rossi is no longer a guaranteed front runner although only a fool would write ...

Daytona 600 Fuel tank ELECTRICAL plug (not fuel connection)
Somewhere along the way while my bike has been in bits the 4 pin plug to the base of the fuel tank got damaged. I cut it off and put small spade connectors on the wires so I could still run the bike. I've searched and searched but can't ...

Re: Project ZX6R
I think you have been sold a lemon there Cav. It's basically a little one way piston (with a shoe in contact with the chain) on a ratchet under spring tension. When the timing chain becomes slack due to wear the spring tension is reduced allowing the piston to ...
