The SX would have mopped it up but it's larger, heavier and fully faired so there's no surprise they act so differently. ...

Re: New hoops. Metzeler Roadtec 01 Review

... Pikes Peak recommended. It is the one thing I check and set every pre-ride. I would have thought that is due to the extra weight of the bike and being so tall - there's bound to be a lot of weight transfer and you wouldn't want the front tyre carcass collapsing. Yup thats what I gathered too, ...

The older I get, the less faith I have in the mainstream medical profession. I got a course of steroids for laryngitis, which was caused from being intubated badly during my skin cancer/skin graft surgery. It smashed me around mentally too. It wasn't till I went back to my own doctor thinking ...

... power I'm getting one. It's such a hoot to ride, so light and flickable. Couple of little gripes - the sidestand isn't easy to get to. I'm used to being able to cycle through the screen using a button on the handlebar - reaching to the screen isn't very user friendly The fuel gauge doesn't fill ...

College this morning and I've come for a nice ride out in this lovely sunshine. Perks of being unemployed, hey? Stopped at Rutland Water and just having coffee and cake in Oakham. Bloody good carrot cake, I can feel it undoing all my good work. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170315/846ad632ea1f5dc631a7794ccb533ba2.jpg ...

... thought about following it on the speed. Almost impossible and about 66mph top speed. Means changing gear loads too. I'm sure it's all about just being easy for the running in period, and to get you acclimatised. The odd squirt wont harm, and it does say not to keep constant revs.

Re: My new toy

Yep, I got a cracking deal. That's the last one they've got at the dealers, hence it being white. Fly screen, rear seat cowl, side pods, side crash protection, tail tidy, arrow can and some other little bits and pieces all thrown in for way below the RRP of £8,200. ...

I'm the same as you D6. They're ok for winter but I don't want them for those times I'm doing more than riding to and from work. They're a bit too neutral for my tastes.

Z8s or M7rr for me next.

I can't see the Corsa or the Sportsmart being suited or lasting long for commuting.
