... on me and the brakes had good initial bite then nothing to back it up. The best bike I've ridden in terms of performance is my ZX6R though.. not sure if bias is dictating that decision ;)

Re: Head or Heart?

... great bike in great condition. If your worried about the handling just check it's all back on stock suspension settings and tyres are correct pressure as a good starting point. We can have a good play when we go out for a ride if you want. 24 in the front and 33 in the rear! Yep that would fook ...

Chilly ride down to Surrey

A little spin down to Newland's this morning, still very cold but roads were dry, very enjoyable.
Tested out the bullet cam to make sure it is still working, so here is where I have been :D

... and back crash bungs, tail tidy and some angled tyre valves. Why the chuff would any manufacturer put straight valves on a motorbike? I'm not sure for the zx6 but while you're buying crash protection my gb racing engine case protectors have easily paid for themselves! Will be buying some for ...

Re: Head or Heart?

LOL I think D6 was joking.

What I meant is the 24 in the front combined with a sh!ty tyre was probably contributing to the vague front end feeling. Plus I'm fairly sure the front sag is out, but can't be sure as I can't see the forks when I lift the bike up

I think the meaning behind the original purpose behind the original post has been lost. I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure that Dogbot was having a go at the site being full of Kawasaki Fan Boys....

Re: Head or Heart?

Cracking day and really chuffed with the bike, need to sort the suspension out, new can and a tail tidy though. Not sure about the front end yet, brakes lovely but feels a bit weird/vague tipping in. Hard to say yet as I've not ridden a bike for nearly two years and only done about ...

I'm pleased you liked it. But that didn't fit in with my joke.

Not sure in what way it looks less transformer than the MT10, though. In fact, not as nice looking to these eyes.

MV Agusta Rivale 800

... I have not ridden one but I sat on the bike at least 4 times during the day at Motorcycle Live... Sadly, it's one of those bikes which I am not sure if I will ever ride - some say you should never meet your heroes, maybe this is mine.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

From memory there's not much room to get the spacers in and the swingarm seems quite high up so trying to get the wheel into place and make sure the spacers didn't move was a game and a half. Too right, plus the rear brake caliper to get into line too.. Uurgh. I also discovered the front brakes ...
