Re: Main starter relay fuse

Sorted, happy days!

Wiring harness had rubbed through on the cam chain adjuster bolt. Very poor design, that shouldn't happen to a bike with 8k on it.

Right, now where's that summer!

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Picked it up from the menders, and figured it would be rude to go straight home.

Sounds great sans CATs and the -1 +1 has taken a few kilos off the front!

Might report them to the Press Council. That is just blatant racism. While you're there report the times for dehumanising migrants and spreading intolerance. http://evolvepolitics.com/the-times-latest-corbyn-smear-has-left-the-papers-reputation-in-tatters/" onclick="window.open(this.href)...

Re: What are you doing today ??

Was working on a film set today and back there tomorrow, nothing exciting, apparently it's a new Liam Neeson film, and part of it is being filmed just off the M3 on the old Chertsey test track. No pics due to security etc (get thrown off site for using a camera), our kit is involved with the lighti...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Definitely something to be said about riding your bike to and from a track day. I've always ridden and never crashed so that's either proof of concept or I'm not trying hard enough

Re: Oulton Park

The track days at Eastern Creek are all crono. It's just a little sticker on your windscreen with a chip in it, costs you nothing and it's mandatory. Once you have it you just quote the code number on it each track day. They monitor the times and adjust people accordingly, but riders don't get acce...

Re: Main starter relay fuse

They've been taped up already......by you?? Looks like they've been rubbing against something that has chafed them through the insulation....perhaps the same thing that did that is shorting out the circuitry??? By someone else, I fixed that and it run for about 10 minutes on the paddock stand an th...

Yeah could have been 5 or 6 years ago, think it was Donington.

Man I need to do a track day, think it's been around 3 years since I last did one.

Re: What are you doing today ??

I don't mean the spew, I handle that ok, I mean the 4 kids 24 hrs a day. I just did a full 24 hrs with mine and Jess' solo and it broke me! They say the army breaks the man before it makes the man. It was a bit like that but without the leave (lol) It's over now, but I've still got the neat vodka a...

Re: Oulton Park

They must be improving then, I went on a focused events transponder day only to find we had to pay an extra 50 quid for the transponder. It certainly wasn't advertised like that, so most of us refused to pay the extra and very few people had transponders. (lol) To be fair to FE, apart from that day ...

Re: Oulton Park

Transponders should be mandatory on track days, far too many red flags. They should move the obviously too fast or too slow at the end of each session and move everyone based on best lap times after lunch. Only problem with that is most people including myself would ride like it's a qualifying sessi...

Re: What are you doing today ??

Feck Monty, I don't know how you do it. I had to go buy a bottle of gin on the way home after dropping them to Jess. Didn't help that my boy came down with a cold today, I thought it was just a sniffle but at the turn around point of our bush walk all the colour drained out off him and he wouldn't ...
