Re: What do you want to vent about today?

Our Manager at work :@ , when I started for this company I did a deal whereby my money stepped up at 6 months, another engineer that started after me also did a deal similar to mine but is a lot younger than me. At 6 months my money didn't change automatically and I had to chase him for it, but eve...

Re: TT 2017

That rcv sounds really odd on full chat. sat at the creg last night Right on the braking marker. You could really tell a difference with the fast lads. Peter Hickham came past on the back wheel then. Straight on the brakes with the back skipping. The speed and smell is something else race fuel in t...

I listened to practice last night - that RCV sounds fantastic. It would be great if Anstey goes well - i don't want it to be a 2 horse race!

I don't like Dunlop so we differ there. He will do well if the bike doesn't let him down though.

Rutter is very local to where i used to live and he drinks in my parents local from time to time. I hope he does well.

Re: What are you doing today ??

Went down to the local supermarket for some groceries yesterday. Getting the trolley and there was an old bloke with a walking stick and really struggling so I pulled him out a trolley from the pile and gave him some room to get going. I spotted no less that 4 people walk straight past him struggli...

Re: Is it an age thing?

I think as you get older you see things differently, with the benefit of hindsight and perspective. All the day to day rubbish that people seem to find so important, you find isn't. That in itself is frustrating i think. The main thing that boils my piss now is people just be unhelpful, unkind or no...

He was amazing and i spent a lot of my early life watching his adventures. I'm sure his love of Shep had an influence on my need for doggies too.

Re: Nutz's 990 Superduke

Tried out the akra specific map today. Oh my god, it's like a different bike. Down low it's still a bit jumpy, but that will always be the case apparently. It has 2 fuel maps and if you catch it just as it's switching it can give that jerkiness. I guess that's some character ;) After that the fueli...

Watched it live yesterday - amazing he just walked away.

The guy that went underneath it as it was in the air nearly won.

Gutted for Alonso - another Honda engine that let him down :( he was in a good position too.
