I reckon all the 2016 bikes will have the problem rectified.
One of the reasons I wouldn't buy a new model in its first year is most end up with a recall of some kind or another.

Mechanically there is no change but I think each year received revised engine mapping.

... Met up with Shakey Byrne who was hobbling after an op to repair damage to his leg. Says he hopes to be running at the front on the Panigale next year as they have factory backing and been working on the deal for sometime. Trying to book holiday is a nightmare for me at work and next year will be worse as someone in the team has been given 5 extra days as a reward for doing 10 years here.
