... problem was the big girl can't navigate the staircase as it winds round and she just howled all night. So now I sleep in the workshop with the bikes sectioned off with a stud wall and patio doors.

Re: someone wants to take the bike round the car park
... Next time he asks I'll suggest a dealership test ride and see how he responds to that. If he reviels that he hasn't got a valid uk licence for bikes on top of not being insured then im pretty sure I can make a case that HR would kill me if I let him out on it. If he has the licence though then ...

... replies. It seems nobody thinks it's a bad idea, so I'm going to go for it. Just need to find my next bike now. I'm going to look at all of the bikes mentioned here and see which ones I can find here. It's easy to find bikes made by Yamaho, Kawazuki, Honba, most bikes I see on the road are like ...

I'm not sure what's banned in China. Is it worth me posting a youtube clip of a couple of bikes?

... Any of the Honda CBR600s would be good as well. Hong Kong is just a few hours away. I regularly visit there. I'm going to take a look at those bikes, thank you very much. Sorry for double post.

Re: Garage / Motorcycle Security
Ahh found it. You can use this with those huge **** chains too.
Obviously doesn't work if you have spindle sliders fitted though. Also appears to only fit certain bikes too.

... the Alto Perfomance bike. http://www.altoracing.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I've also got two chains round my bikes. One at front and one at rear. It adds perhaps 1 minute to me getting the bike out but means it will take twice as long to steal. Nothing is un-nickable ...

Re: Moving up to a bigger bike, advice needed.
Hi It depends where you are, what you use the bike for and what you want it for. Bigger bikes are easier to use for everyday riding as you don't have to do so much work to get it going. There's better acceleration and more grunt available. I would have a think about ...

... see how it goes down. (hopefully she wont put me down lol) It was nice knowing you mate... ;) There is a lot of personal taste when it comes to bikes. Re: Going Bareback
There's the z800 as well which is just as capable but probably cheaper to insure. When I had 2 bikes it used to be a naked and a sportsbike. I ended up using the sports for commuting and the naked for fun. The lack of a fairing does help keep your speeds down as you feel ...
