Re: 2024 Superduke

No thanks. The single sided swingarm couldn't cope with the torque of the 1290, it always wheelied toward the central reservation!! I was listening to Chaz Davies a few months ago who is heavily involved in helping Ducati develop the V4 Panigale as an endurance racer. He said at the Le Mans 24 hour...

Re: The electric car revolution

Government should be investing in clean cheap public transport for urban areas, not building new roads.
Then you make motoring expensive in urban areas.

Also vehicles that pollute more should be taxed more both on new prices and annual road tax.

Re: Sinead O'Connor

This sums up up perfectly for me.

Tim Burgess, lead singer of British rock band the Charlatans, wrote on Twitter that "Sinead was the true embodiment of a punk spirit."

"She did not compromise and that made her life more of a struggle. Hoping that she has found peace," he said.

Re: The electric car revolution

In my opinion its a given that a some point we will all have a maximum carbon footprint to use which we can sell to others where we don't need it all.

Give me a decent option to driving and i would use it every time. I hate driving. There are far too many vehicles on the road now.

My step mum just bought herself an electric car. My dad has had solar panels and 6kWh batteries installed and has calculations to say they should be able to run the house purely off solar for 9 months of the year and only effective charge the car from the grid.. it doesn't actually work that way bu...

Re: The electric car revolution

Its storage of hydrogen that is the problem. To get sufficient into a fuel tank it needs to be a minimum of 5000psi and kept cold.

It will take massive steps forward in technology for it to be viable for bikes i would have thought.

Why does Farage get so much air time on national news? There's over ,1m people without a bank account. Courts isn't exactly the bank of the people. I said that to someone the other day. People would be astonished how many low income people are refused bank accounts because they have , according to ...

I like the look of them.....their proportions are much more in line with a true vintage Triumph rather than the current range of retro namesakes.
