Re: What do you want to praise today?

Community spirit. My daughter has a school friend that lives a few doors down and her step mum is a JP. I was down there the other day getting documents verified for my income protection claim. I know them pretty well so when she asked why I was doing a claim, I was pretty open as to why. Well toda...

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

Washing machines can generally be repaired with a little knowledge. There are so many 'How to' videos on YouTube now that its a piece of piss to diagnose a fault and decide whether its economic to fix it.

Re: Main Dealer Servicing

A warranty isn't void if not dealer serviced Duke that's a common mis understanding to be fair. It has to be serviced in line with manufacturers specifications and schedules, with oem parts but the work can be carried out by anyone competent to do so. I've made warranty claims with Kawasaki when th...

I suspect the biggest issue for Silverstone at the moment is managing to get any insurance cover for next year at any cost

Re: Silverstone MotoGP

Had another email this evening. Does make you wonder if there will even be another British Motogp round next year. Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Have you enquired at CJS Racing? He is an expert at unlocking ECUs and then remapping them.

Just last week he worked out how to unlock the Ducati DVT ECU.

Re: Main Dealer Servicing

So much depends on the dealer and the expectations of the staff. I try and find one I can trust now before I even consider if it’s a bike I want. Staffs Triumph were brilliant, as have been JHP and Cornerspeed for Ducati. I think the Ducati expectations relate back to the older bikes which needed so...

Re: Quickshifter Recommendations

It has to be said that I think the downshifting is more useful on the road than the upshift. Also gives a cleaner shift in most instances. The reason I believe they might not be fitted as standard is because the manufacturers think the gearbox is not strong enough. My Multi is not fitted with one an...
