Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Not quite today, but Thursday last week my daughter Jorja asked to go for a hoon on the bike. I said “we can go for a sensible mature ride” She looked at me and said “Whatever Father” 😂 So we had a good hoon 😇 Then the next day Jess had a RDO and we did a couple of hours on the Ducati and a pub lunch.

Re: Work

I’m pretty tolerant to a certain point, but if I’d been left a message like that, someone would be wearing that piece like a butt plug.

Re: The new improved fitness thread

Another fantastic day on the mountain bike yesterday, approximately 3000m of vertical descending (y) It's hard work for sure and probably very good press up training 3000 metres?? Is there an extra zero in there that shouldn’t be? No extra zero.. it's possibly a bit conservative too. It's around 35...

Back home so have been able to get back into bush walks rather than endless circles on the helideck

I mix it up over a handful of tracks we have close by, but here’s a typical effort I do each morning after I’ve got every one out of the house

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

Farking cheeky power company c**ts They are changing out meters to smart meters, that part I was ok with. They did mine 3 days before the end of a 3 month billing cycle. Luckily I got Jess to take photos of the reads that morning. They pulled the old meters out and then when my bill arrived they had...

That's a nice position to be in. I'm riding our the current mortgage crisis and paying for my daughter to go to university. This year is her last so I'll be ok from June next year. The next few months are going to be rough but I've got a home, clothes and food in my belly. Sadly there's far too man...

Re: Another New Bike Day, Stonesie's GS

good fix Stonsie, but just a point to note. Aluminium against stainless steel or ferrous metals has a high risk of galvanic corrosion. It would pay to give your bushings a coat or two of paint to prevent any electrolysis occuring. Being on the bars there is a high chance of them getting wet and star...

Re: Another New Bike Day

Looks good mate!

Your bike, you have to be happy with it, and sounds like this suits you well.

There's a few guys out here at work with GS1200's and they rate them highly (and they aren't nobs either (lol) ) Though that thing looks a tad flasher than their models
