... quicker. The only corners I consistantly had knee down were Redgate, 'hairpin' at bottom of craner, coppice and melbourne hairpin. I'm pretty sure I could drag knee on every corner if I wanted to but it's not fast. Also saves £40 a time on knee sliders

Sounds to me like he's not really sure what his priorities are any more.

It's clear there isn't enough time in a week for him to work a full time job, ride mountain bikes, race motorbikes AND be a TV personality. Something had to give.

its only 1 TT he's done the last 11 and I'm pretty sure he will return in the future , given the opportunity wouldn't we all broaden our horizons a little and try something new and/or different .

He's a personable chap and comes across very well on TV. I'm sure there's more money in that than in racing.

I still have the Angel GTs to go back on. At least a couple of thousand miles left in them. The torque measurement for the rear wheel bolt is something like 240nm so its never easy to remove but not sure if its been removed since before the Italy trip so a fair few miles done ...

The telephone calls I can understand, you get a lot more done in a call and its easier to make sure you're understood. Emails and text messages can be misread or misunderstood.
