I'm paranoid about spilling that stuff. My bike looks like it's having keyhole surgery when I do the brake fluid as I've got towels covering anything that could get splashed with it.

Sounds almost like this pistons are retracting to far, but no reason they should. Indeed strange. The only other thing I would try is unbolting them brake units from the fork and holding the up higher than the master cylinder while you bleed them again.

... No visible leaks from banjos etc, so I released the lever which had pressure, left it for a few mins while i finished the chain tension and a few other things then tried the lever - no pressure. Pump the lever twice - pressure again. I bled the brakes again, a couple of tiny bubbles but nothing ...

... bad - i just hope they are right - they should be as i couldn't tighten them any more physically and the links move with the same movement as the other 'proper' ones. Still a PITA. :^

The blades separated from the helicopter - no second chances from that one.

I assume there are other makes of helicopter or can they contract other choppers to get you off the rig?

Even with my kawasaki discount I would still chose the new zx10 over the H2,the only other bikes that take my fancy are the rsv4 and the pantigirdle 1299s

... seen it as an engineering project to bring something different to the market. I'm sure Kawasaki will use what they've learned on more bikes and other platforms.

Fair point Perks ands I realise the manufacturers have not designed them to compete against each other but as a potential customer they do compete for my hard earned and for me at least I wouldn't consider a H2 at its current price. North of 20k there are too many MORE special bikes available IMO.
