I think the being away for 1/2 the time is how I keep hold of her (lol). If she had to deal with me 24/7 I'd probably have been kicked to the curb by now (blush)

Jellybeans. My son won a 4 kg tin of them Christmas last year. I'd forgotten about the tin but just rediscovered it (party)

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

Since I've been seeing Jess I seem to have at least one overnighter in the city each break as we go in for a show or some event. On writing that post I thought, how do I handle those regular visits? Then I realised 9 times out of 10 within an hour of checking into the hotel my attitude has been adju...

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

Bloody cities and everything that goes with them. I've always lived in regional areas or on the fringe of larger towns. So visiting a CBD is about 50% anxiety and 40% annoyance. I hate crowds, the bin juice smell, crazies, traffic, parking costs and the zombie inhabitants. Public transport semi-petr...

Kiwi, can you claim mileage for that? Nope. Any other work duties like training, meetings or conferences we get overtime and claims kms or use cabs. But the yearly medical Is deemed a condition of employment and as such we have cover any travel and time. Just pisses me off we have to do it where th...

Re: Pokemon Go

Bloody city centres are the way to go for pokestops! In at Parramatta an hour early for my medical so did a few laps collecting items. I'd eroded my ball stockpile Kwacky had built up as pokestops out my way are thin. Got another 100 odd for myself and 50 odd for each of the kids. My daughter had a ...

Work medical. As it's a condition of employment I have to drive on my own time140 km return to attend the company designated clinic for a Hearing Test and Spiro/Lung Test.

It could be done about 15 mins away by my local doctor.

Re: Pokemon Go

Had a go at a couple of gyms yesterday and got both. But this morning I see I've been knocked out of both again. I've been stacking them with pokes from Jess and Jorja's accounts (Byron isn't the red team) to help hold them but seems to have limited success. Hatched an Aerodactyl 1478 CP. probably m...

Part 1 & 2 of the Namibia edition of The Grand Tour. The show is so close to the old Top Gear, really not sure how they are getting away with it. Really thought the BBC would've had a whinge by now.

I liked the old show and enjoying this one as well.

Saw boss baby, was rather funny at times.

Re: Novel concept bike

Combined that space saving and safety with driverless tech and there'd be so much more road for us on real bikes!

But in all seriousness, once driverless is able to be mainstream, they should toughen up the driving tests to a high level and if you can't pass you get a 'driverless only' permit.
