Re: Cav's ZX6R

... the Michelin Pilot Road 4s would be ideal as they warm up easier in lower temperatures, offer great wet grip, offer enough dry grip to have fun (even if the profile isn't preferred) and on the plus side I'd get better mileage off them

Re: Cav's ZX6R

I had BT021/023's on the Triumph the whole time I had it, but I did commute 130 km a day on it. I agree they aren't the ideal tyres for a 600 sport bike but I still got my knee down on them and had no chicken strips.

Now my riding is purely recreational I wouldn't even dream about fitting them.

That's horrendous!

What have you got on their now? I found the Dunlop Sportsmarts really suited my bike - I even got kneedown at 120mph on them on the road.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Apparently the smaller pistons are a lot more difficult to get a perfect setup (if there even is such a thing). A lot of club riders prefer the 30mm kits just for ease of setup and a lot of people hate on Ohlins weirdly.

Re: The internet did good today

Its a nice enough story but even though a bike club did an honourable thing they are still described as a gang , reinforcing stereotypes that we as bikers dont need , mind you they did get a mention in a positive story which is quite good for the Mail .

Feck all, very quiet offshore atm, and I have 2 Timorese trainees working for me, so even the minimal amount there is to do they are fighting over.

This is going to be an expensive ebay swing if this keeps up!

Think you're missing the common theme here D. I've been stopped by traffic police in Germany, France, Slovenia, Italy and the UK and not once was my life or the officers life in danger. Two of them had a gun and at no point was that even fecking relevant.

The Vehicle Down Sensor was replaced under warranty but obviously that wasn't the fix even though that error code still exists.
