Re: How not to get repeat custom
... lube when I installed my chain and it also was the horrible white muck. As I never put a drop on it was the wax the manufacturer had applied. Even though I wiped the excess off I still got white jizz on my tyre for a while (blush) That must be it then. It looks like it's been to a bukkake party ...

Tbh Kwacky thinking about it I had the same issue of excessive chain lube when I installed my chain and it also was the horrible white muck.

Re: Pokemon Go
All my hatchlings have been pretty woeful. Think a 309 odd CP has been my best. I've not got a 10 km egg yet though, mainly 2km and a couple of 5km. When we did the big mission in the city on Sunday I put a 5km egg in an incubator. At the end it only had 4 km logged against it, ...

I do agree I'm unsure what he was thinking by making that move only he will ever know what went through his head at that moment. Very sad situation though

... when ignition was off. New battery on and fired straight up. The old battery was knackered, some cheap shitty no brand thing. Idles shit though and runs rough under 40mph and a couple of times when coming to a stop, pulled clutch in and the revs have dropped right down and the bike has ...

Re: Isle of Man - 9th to 11th September
I'd like to, but I don't think I'll be able to make it. We haven't had a holiday this year as a family, I'm not sure me burning round the island will go down so well.
I'll ask though.

Re: Bank of England Interest Rate Cut
If it's savings there would be minimal transactions though.
I guess the only risk is whether your money is safe as look what happened with the iceland banks.

Re: Bike SWAP
As you know I was very tempted before I had the new Multi. It needs to be ridden on track to make the most of it though at least with my limited capabilities. I will never ever forget the feel of nearly 170mph down that back straight at Snetterton though. A moment to savour for a long time.

Re: Bike SWAP
I want a Ducati sportsbike at some point Duke and although I didn't enjoy the 1199 maybe in fairness that test ride was compromised and as you say 1299 better road bike. The s1000rr is a possible and a mega bike it's just a bit samey to my Blade and ...

Re: Bike SWAP
Nice but expensive imo. The one I was looking at had a full £2200 akrapovic system plus asv levers, zero gravity screen, loads of crash protection (Ironically) 3000 less miles and was 500 quid cheaper.
You know me Mick I love a good deal. Thanks for the heads up though mate.

Re: Bike SWAP
... Akrapovic that's currently fitted, my guess is that if you look carefully you'll find a replaced clip on and lever as well. Definitely a walk away though, if the dealer had been up front about it all, that's one thing, but him being evasive is ringing warning bells in my head....

Does have nice perks to it though.
Isn't anyone not born in the USA precluded anyway.?
