Re: It was 20 years ago today..........

At the time it was heart stoppingly beautiful.
It still looks DDG 20 years on IMHO.

However (sorry Duke) I now prefer the looks of my 675.
The true test, I guess, will be if my bike still retains the same impact in 20 years time.

It's all over our cars here, bit of dew and mist overnight and the windscreens looks as if the car had done a stage of the Paris Dakar. :^

Re: Front motorcycle stand

748 is on a rear stand as well but doesn't need it. There is no way the bike can fall over. Yes mine is the Thatcham one and i chose it because it looks very hard to break the chain when threaded through the metal tube especially if the chain is relativity short and doesn't lie on the floor. It ...

Spider bite

... the quacks and they confirmed it as a spider bite !! The drain is in the garage but close to the house and theres a rad on the opposite wall ... looks like I disturbed a spiders nest when I was clearing the drain. The hand is still swollen and itchy but not as bad as it was on Sunday morning.

Going Bareback

So I keep finding myself looking at z1000's and thinking, "ooooohhhh that looks fun..." Keep thinking about swapping the zx6 for one, it would be the 2010-2013 shape not the newest, been thinking it for ages but worried ill end up missing full fairings ...
