Re: Panigale 1299S road test ride

I intend looking for a s/h one in a couple of years, Blade.

I would want to take it on track now and again as that's what it was designed for and where it works best and i'm not sure i would want to do that with £17k+ of 205bhp sportsbike.

Re: Textile trousers

FC-Moto have said they'll take the trousers back but they're not sure if Rukka will replace or repair. It's a pain but for now I'll return them and in the meantime get some waterproofs to go over my leather jeans.

... you're still on the right road. At first, I wasn't keen. The phone display isn't brilliant in sunlight and there's a new load of information to take in which can easily distract you from the road. However, after 15 miles or so I started to get it. Don't let yourself look at it for too long, ...

A tranq. shot takes a while to take effect....15-20 mins IIRC (depending on the compound used). During the last few minutes before a subject "goes under" there's a period when the animal will react VERY unpredictably as ...

Re: Experienced travellers

I'm just looking through everyone's advice here and it is great, love the idea of having old undies and then just throwing them away as you go. Great idea.

Kwacky have a Fab trip please take some pics for us [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

Re: Experienced travellers

You need waterproof gloves mate.

If you get wet gloves it could ruin the trip. If you don't have space for spares take some of the latex surgeons gloves to wear under your summer gloves if it rains.

Re: Dead Gorilla

I think the zoo had a tough choice to make, but shooting it was probably right. A tranquiliser can take time to kick in and the gorilla could have reacted badly and ended up hurting the lad. Absolutely spot-on assessment. A tranq. can take up to 20 minutes (IIRC) to render ...

Re: Experienced travellers

I did have a large tank bag but it transpires a family of mice had moved in and made it their new home.

If I'm going to do a tour again and I'm keeping this bike then I'll take a look at having a top box put on the SX.
