Re: Big 50 track bash

I got given a pass for a Euro Trackday this year as a last hoorah before knuckling down and buying a house so I doubt I'll be able to go next year as well.

I've heard really good things about Cartagena, very cheap too

... of getting used to. As in, gas it in your street, the bike falls over, and you spend an hour or so fixing the scratch marks on the engine cover before taking it back to the dealer. Who is not fooled for a moment, I might add. (facepalm)

Got a quick sit on the H2 before someone rode it away. Doesn't feel as long as it looks once sat on it. Its definitely a very special bike.

Me neither, but I also wouldn't dive at the slightest change of wind and pretend I've been hurt when I'm not.

I also imagine that viewing figures for a team of guys that run out of steam before reaching the halfway line with a 50p for a foot would be minimal!

Re: The new improved fitness thread

Left the house last evening to go to the gym. By the time I got there I was soaked. The heavens had opened.

Going two days in a row isn't effective for me. I was still sore from the day before and so my deadlifts and chest press were weak.

I was reloading ammo shells with fresh powder and projectiles by the age of 8. I was in a gun club and competed in Small Bore ...

Re: Florida shooting

That's a stupid question. My life means nothing if I wouldn't put it before that of my wife and children. But again, that supports my argument. I'm glad I'm in the position where it's highly unlikely I would ever have to face a person with a handgun. P.S. ...

... these days, probably only saturdays now as the ex has the kids most friday nights when I'm home. Mid week would require her to take them the night before, a before school care booking and the MiL doing after school duties. That would be calling in a lot of favours!! But if I can book well in advance ...

Got up early and went out for an hour before work. Will be glad when i can ride it on some dry roads. There does seem to be more difference in the different modes than there was on my previous Multi.

You really do need to watch that clip. Because everything you say is addressed in it. Even the Pro NRA guy clocks what he's saying is wrong.

@ Kwacky. I didn't....it was pushing a somewhat tiresome agenda, and one I've heard many times before. Narcotics trafficking and illegal firearms trade go hand in hand. The Constitution allows weapons. People have them and all the discussion of that fact is not going to ...

The dealer put TC on full before I left as it was hammering down when I left but by the time I got home it was dry. It's filthy dirty now. Hoping it might be dry tomorrow evening.

... why Perkles posted this. One of my earliest biking memories is sat at a set of traffic lights about a mile from home, having set out a few minutes before in glorious sunshine, now soaked to the skin telling Perkles I wasn't going out riding with him again as it always rained when we went out.
