Re: Christmas Trees

Usually a week or two out but it will be going up first weekend of December this year as I’m away over Christmas and New Years at work so we are having our Christmas for Jess, myself and the kids on the second weekend of December and I fly out a couple of days later.

Re: Christmas Trees

Confession time. Last year we had the tree up in October.

Reason being, Marie Curie were filming a promotional video at our house for Christmas and it was such a faff we decided to leave the tree up

Re: Christmas Trees

Up a fortnight before...mebbe ten days.

Down on New Year's Day.....because 'all is quiet', etc.
......And I mean that - there's absolutely bugger-all else to do. Pointless holiday

Re: Christmas Trees

We normally go first weekend of December but that's coz my Mrs is overly excitable. I imagine that as quick as it goes up this year it will come down just as quick once little one gets his grubby mits on it.

Next year gfCav wants to come on the back again so I'll no doubt have the bike back on the road and be up for another one of these days

Re: Kwacky's 675 Street Triple

... small billet bits, nothing which really stands out but not bling has to be obvious. I can fit the bits over winter and get the bike ready for next year. I can't see me using it again until then.

I think he sees the football more for the social side of it. The cool kids at school play football. He's going on a school trip next year with the football team. He's getting into his boxing. He went to a couple of the Sunday morning boxercise classes we do and he liked it. He's only done ...

Re: 2017 Versys 650 Grand Tourer - ongoing review

A couple of stiff links won't damage much so long as the chain tension is correct for the stiffest part of the chain.

Surprised cleaning, lubing and riding again didn't sort it though as I've had that happen a lot on the Ninja's 2 year old chain and it always frees up

Re: Poppy mis-use.

There are so many poppy bullies on social media. It's getting to the point where people are losing the meaning of remembrance.

I've noticed this year there's been a lot of abuse towards the white poppy. Sadly by people who don't know what it represents.
