Re: MotoGP on BT Sport...I'll start the debate then

... (rock) Very good point, back to the OP...:-) I am really looking forward to the Moto 2 & 3 events also, i never really got into them over the years, yet from what they showed i reckon they're a cracking series too! Ducati - man i reckon that was a canny move on their part and hence why they ...

Re: What bike should i get then....?

I was taking the RC8 for its 3 year service today to Redline in Loughborough, so enquired about a test ride while i was there. They had a few demo bikes, but it was the 690 Duke i specifically wanted to try. I'm after a bike thats the polar ...

Re: What bike should i get then....?

If those two bikes are your faves, I'd buy the duke 690. I test rode one last year. I've never giggled so much on a bike or been unafraid of any corners. It's so light and clickable.

I'll post my test ride in the next reply.

... These levers too good to be true at that price? Anyone given them a try? I got some Chinese levers last year for the RSV, not the same as those ones though. They quality is OK, obviously not as good as the big manufacturers but good enough for me. I looked ...

Re: Pitty Patter - our racing blog 2014

... ;) Seriously though, could it have been related to the major compression at the bottom of hailwoods. Was nige a lot faster into the dip than last year. There's not many other tracks that give you that level of suspension and tyre compression. Just a thought. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk

Something totally different...

I haven't posted much lately. Well, I say lately, over the last year I've been posting less and less. I mentioned a bit back that it was probably due to the pressure of the possibility of my contract not getting extended at work and me facing unemployment/homelessness ...

Re: Slappapalooza

Believe it or not but looking at my dairy only weekend available all year would be 27/28/29 June so not possible for me but good idea and would be interested next year.

Up for plenty of ride outs though.

Re: Slappapalooza

Sounds like a great idea, but I can't do this year with the wedding etc. Would love a Scotland one too. I really enjoy Isle of Mann, but exploring other places would be good.

It sounds a great idea. I would be in like a shot if I weren't off to Qatar for 4 months at the end of August. Maybe next year.

Manc Bike Show - 23rd/24th March

Located at Event City, near the Trafford Centre, this is billed as being a good show. Can't comment myself, having never made it to one in all the years I've lived around here (shake) This year we have a little more reason to make the effort, as The Ram's Fireblade will be on display at the Hunts ...

The new improved fitness thread

Just got back from the Stafford Half Marathon and really pleased to say I managed it in 1hr 56 mins, a whopping 16 minutes faster than last year.

To say I am delighted would be an understatement.

Re: Decisions Decisions

It sounds as if you've postponed the decision for another year. How about this year spending some money on a track day or advanced riding and seeing if that causes you to want another bike?
