Re: Isle of Man - 8th to 10th September

I think I usually pay around £100. I know they've put their prices up.

The seating option is for the upstairs lounge. It's never full so I doubt there will be any problems with you sitting up there.

Re: Leather saddlebags on a Panigale?

HD aren't known for their build quality so it will be interesting to see what happens. Doesn't sound like a great move tbh.

Re: Liquid Crystal

Gtechniq have a brilliant reputation. I used some of one of their other products on the Jag last year - it's all great stuff.

Liquid Crystal

... to try it out. It's supposed to provide good protection for paintwork and make it easier to clean. I've got 100ml for now and ordered one of their applicator cloths. I'll let you know how easy it is to apply and how effective it is on the bike. Gtechniq have a good rep in the car world and ...

Re: Leather saddlebags on a Panigale?

It's a smart move for both companies, I think....HD will have learned from their mistake with MV....and while HD bike sales may be slow, as a brand they do pretty well overall.

Re: Holiday destinations

... a little. Brush up on your Italian though, very few speak English If you're looking at either Sardinia or Sicily, it might be worth looking at their Agriturismo schemes, not unlike a Gíte in a some ways but a select few are really spot on. Trip Advisor is your friend if you're looking at those.

Re: Rsv4

I'm fairly sure Fast Bikes magazine have also mentioned that RSV4s can deck out in their track tests. My only issue would be to want to see under the frame protectors.

What sort of an idiot commits a terrorist act in his own Country? Don't most terrorists act within their own country ? Are some people really so thick and stupid? Yes, although I would suggest that "easily brainwashed & blinkered" is perhaps a more appropriate ...

Re: Stupid people

I cannot understand how so many people appear to be so full of hate for others they don't know, don't understand and do not in any way impinge on their own lifestyle.

It really does beggar belief.

Re: What are you doing today ??

... have me pulling my hair out on a daily basis but I always feel pretty glum on this night. I get them off to school tomorrow and then drop them to their mums tomorrow evening. I know I am lucky the big block of time I get with them but it's always hard facing 3 1/2 weeks without seeing them.

Re: Bike Thefts (again)

I'm constantly amazed at the level of bike theft you guys in the UK have and to a large part expect. The thieves seems to have it all their way in the UK, needs to be a major shift imo. I totally agree....it does beggar belief doesn't it?? I think at some stage you just have to start thinking ...

Re: What are you doing today ??

The art of negotiation is make your opponent believe that the proposal you have agreed upon is their idea.

Had my year end appraisal. During the big boss came up with a couple of ideas, both of which I was happy with. Who would have thought it 8)

My current boss won't be happy though. Tough.

Re: What are you doing today ??

As a dad my one bit of advice is don't miss an opportunity to be a there as a dad if you can help it. This part of their life passes quicker that you think and you'll be thankful you got to share it with them. Even if he is too young to remember the bond will be stronger.

There are a few Aussies on the Versys forum who have their bikes spending most of their time off the tarmac. All I did was post edited that pic so it's obviously something to do with the original pic data ...

Yep, that's working now.

A bit of off road is good for the soul. The makers reckon the bike can do those sort of roads so you may as well go for it. There are a few Aussies on the Versys forum who have their bikes spending most of their time off the tarmac.

Re: What you watching?

I've been watching paint dry... literally.

Sadly no time to watch TV and when I did at the weekend I learned that the FireStick has gone with my gf's parents on their holidays. No more Mr Robot for the time being

Re: London's Burning.

Sadly it'll be the small companies who will pay the heaviest price. The big companies will get fined, none of their directors will go to the big house.
