Re: Donington Road only - 24th April

... a cracking bike on track! I've seen the aftermath of crashes in places where they shouldn't happen and often wondered how it happened as well, not sure how some people manage it! I get the idea of a road-only day it ought to be more low-key with people thinking about the ride home before chucking ...

Re: Donington Road only - 24th April

Thanks Kiwi.

I'm sure they have hundreds of people applying to work for bike mags. Plus the wages are crap.

I think I'll stick to the occasional short story for the readers of Tankslap :)

Re: Battery Concerns

That's not promising. A battery shouldn't flatten that quick. I know the older alarms would drain it but I'm sure from memory mine would take a few weeks to be low so there's no way just your clock would do anything like that.

Re: Nutz's 990 Superduke

@cookiemonster cheers mate loads of useful info there. I had no idea you could get a slow action throttle, I'll look into it. Clutch master added to the list. I'll bite your hand off for the tuneecu cable, not sure it's been remapped after the akra's where fitted.

Re: Why was I nervous yesterday!?

Glad it didn't finish in a bad way Rossgo (has for me once), their bottle of bubbly may have been misguided, but I'm sure the intention was there, glad your team did you proud as well, it's always nice to have the effort you put into the soul destroying grind of the weekday appreciated ...

Re: Kwacky's 675 Street Triple

That bike is a fecking scream on the track. It's so sure footed and composed i reckon i was riding at about 70% of the bikes capability and it was still swinging through the middle group without being shown up.

Re: The Football Thread

He's only here for 3 games so it's a good move IMO. He'll get the players back to basics and fired up. We only need to win one game to be 100% sure of staying up so it's not an impossible task.
