Re: New lid time

the red one will look odd on the versys the green one will look odd on the stripple I'd say either buy both the red and green , or get the black . I'm pretty much with Jack, but , buy the red & green together, get a bulk/postal discount, retain the new lid smell ...

Re: We've all been bored on the motorway

... This is why I have very little respect for the old bill, there was no work there done by them all they did was follow, a stolen bike and they say 'nah it's gone and it's your fault, good luck with insurance for 5 years'. 1 wheelie should of been enough to have a chat with the rider and maybe ...

Re: The new improved fitness thread

... with shin splints for a good 6 months when I first started training. Sweatshop got me sorted as well, best thing I ever did. 10k in Feb you say?? In the bag, it's easier to go from 5-10 than from 0-5. IMO.

Re: We've all been bored on the motorway

As I say not defending the numb nuts coz he was a proper muppet but just seems a bit crazy to me that hes done for dangerous riding yet the policeman allowed ...

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

... Kwacky but I think in most hobbies the few ruin it for the many decent people, unfortunately after nearly 20 years of playing guitar I have to say its the opposite, there a few decent people about but there are far more pr!cks in the music world.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

I cleaned .. no polished the 999 then took her down to Fowlers while I had a coffee, or should I say that was the intention but the queue was so long I couldn't be bothered, went back outside and the old girl had some admirers so chatted to them for quite a while then had a nice bimble home.

Re: SP Quickshifters

... track there a great mod for a road bike. If you can get an autoblipper though go that route as it's another level of trickness altogether. I would say the downshifter is the best mod/feature I've had on any bike and really is a great performance aid (y)

Re: On this day

I have to say I love being in my 40s. There are downsides to it, but I'm very comfortable with who I am (if that makes sense?).

I hate being in my 30s.

Re: Who are you in Motogp

I'd probably say Iannone, underdog that gets over looked but can take the show to the big boys once in a while - occasionally gets carried away and needs a reality check
